Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of ESG goals and initiatives across the Firm and Investment Vehicles.
- Lead Firm-wide ESG Committee.
- Lead and coordinate ESG initiative with internal groups (acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, business development).
- Monitor benchmarking requirements across states/municipalities and ensure adherence among assets.
- Track green leases, other sustainability metrics and KPIs, diversity statistics among vendors/supply chain.
- Direct third-party consultants and vendors.
- Lead GRESB and UNPRI annual responses.
- Lead the development of external facing ESG materials (Add list of reports).
- Lead the development of responses to investor ESG related questions.
- Participate in ESG discussions and due diligence meetings with investors.
- Educate internal and external stakeholders on purpose, mission, impact and value of ESG across the enterprise.
- Lead the development of internal facing ESG materials.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulation that impact the business.
Experience, Education & Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience within management consulting, financial services, engineering or related
- 5+ years of relevant experience within sustainability.
- Understanding and immediate experience managing and organizing projects translating from strategy to execution.
- Detail-oriented professional with ability to distill independently and quickly key questions and next steps;
- Ability to interface successfully and collaboratively with numerous internal stakeholders withtrack record of influencing without authority
- Superior written, project and oral communication skills
- Outstanding quantitative and qualitative skills, including via Excel and PowerPoint.
- Curious with aptitude for learning; able to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
